Botulinum toxin A, commonly known as Botox is one of the best known and most popular cosmetic treatments to treat fine line and wrinkles. This is mostly due to the fact that it is a safe and non surgical option with minimal downtime.

Botulinum toxin A works by relaxing the facial muscles temporarily through a series of small injections. This softens lines and wrinkles in the treated area. The results are usually noticeable between 5-7 days after treatment but the full effect can be expected up to two weeks post treatment and can last 3-4 months.
